AI Output & Research Disclaimer

1.Your statistics are checked against independent references

Every statistic StatMinds reports — the test statistic, the p-value, the effect size, the confidence interval, the assumption checks — is computed by a deterministic engine and cross-checked against an established reference library such as SciPy, statsmodels, pingouin or R. Run the same data with the same options and you get the same numbers, and every result carries a reproducibility record showing how it was produced. The arithmetic is something you can rely on.

2.The written interpretation is a first draft

Interpretations, summaries, write-ups and thesis chapters are written by AI to help you put your results into words. Treat them as a starting point, not a finished answer. Read each one against your own results and your own data before you keep a single sentence.

3.Check every claim against your results

AI can misread a result, overstate a finding, or phrase an error with complete confidence. StatMinds adds automatic integrity checks that catch the common mistakes, but they are a safety net, not a substitute for your own eye. Before you rely on a sentence, confirm the direction of the effect, that any claim of significance matches the p-value, and that every number in the prose matches the number in the table.

4.You stay the researcher

StatMinds supports your analysis — it does not replace your judgement, your supervisor, or a qualified statistician. Which test fits, whether your design is sound, and whether a result truly answers your question are yours to decide. The AI explains and drafts; you make the calls.

5.AI cannot be your co-author

An AI tool is not an author. Under the guidance most journals follow — such as the ICMJE recommendations — AI cannot be listed as an author, and its use should be disclosed. You are the author of your work, and it is yours to meet the authorship and AI-disclosure rules of your journal, institution or examiner.

6.Not medical, legal or financial advice

Nothing StatMinds produces is medical, clinical, legal or financial advice, or a recommendation about any individual or patient. Do not base a diagnosis, a treatment, or any other professional decision on it.

7.What you publish is yours to stand behind

You are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of anything you publish, submit or present using StatMinds. We do not warrant that any output is correct or complete, and we cannot guarantee acceptance by any journal or examiner. Verify your results before you use them.
